What you will do

As a Project Manager in the Powertrain organization, you will work with engineers, purchasers, aftermarket, sales, manufacturing and many other stakeholders to deliver quality engine, transmission and axle projects on-time.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical project leadership to cross-functional teams.

  • Ensure that all aspects of your projects are delivered according to Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature & Sustainability targets and defined project prerequisites.

  • Plan, prioritize and direct activities.

  • Review & approve requests for design changes.

  • Represent the company as a technical expert to customers and technical organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field (advanced degree a plus)

  • 5+ years' experience in Project Management, Engineering, or related activity

  • PMP certification preferred, but not mandatory

  • Knowledge of North American products and customer applications

  • Excellent oral and written communications skills

  • Domestic and international travel may be required as needed.
