Senior DevOps Engineer (Permanent)

Location: Borehamwood Country: UK Rate: Up to £90k per annum

Method Resourcing have partnered with a rapidly growing UK-based insurance services partner who are going from strength-to-strength in their growth as they look to add a Senior DevOps Engineer to their team.

The role: You will rapidly learn and understand the current hybrid environment to provide a pivotal role in the Cloud migration strategy to Azure Cloud. Alongside this, you will provide input on cloud native design and implementation decisions, and work closely with the development teams to refine and improve their automation pipelines. Whilst taking on new projects, you will help to define the scope, design and technical documentation - ensuring key stakeholders are updated on progress and seeing projects through to final implementation within the project timeline.

The skills and experience we are looking for:

Production experience with application containerisation, builds and orchestration (React, NextJS, Java and PHP applications)
Load-balancer and Ingress design and implementation (IaC) experience - Azure FrontDoor, Azure app-gateway, F5
In-depth knowledge and understanding of WAF design and policy implementation.
Production experience utilising Infrastructure as code automation (Terraform, Atlantis)
Experience with designing and writing CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
Git version control, branching strategies and workflows.
Strong communication skills
Experience of implementing DevOps best practices and methodologies
Previous experience of cloud migrations

Working arrangements: This role requires 1 day in their Borehamwood office and the other 4 days WFH, please ensure you can travel to this location before applying.
