Machine Learning Engineer - Azure - Consulting (Contract)
Location: London Country: UK Rate: £475 - £500 per day
MLE Engineer - Azure
SR2 is recruiting for one of the UK's leading AI companies and looking for a Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) on an outside IR35 contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- Building software and infrastructure that leverages Machine Learning
- Creating reusable, scalable tools to enable better delivery of ML systems
- Improving existing systems to enable more scalable, reliable, and maintainable ML systems
- Working with our customers to help understand their needs
- Working with data scientists and engineers to develop best practices and new technologies
Experience required:
- Technical experience of cloud architecture, system design, security, and deployment
- Understanding of and interest in the full machine learning lifecycle, including deployment of trained ML models using common frameworks (Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and ideally Azure managed ones (Azure ML Workspace, Azure ML Studio)
- Experience in Software Engineering including programming and development of applications in Python (eg FastAPI)
- Demonstrable experience with containers (Docker). Kubernetes experience is desirable, but not required
- Experience deploying Generative AI applications is desirable (eg RAG systems, LLM fine-tuning, etc.)
