Our client is looking for a Data Strategy Consultant (Python/R skills) to join their Data Discovery and Research team on a 12mth contract.

Data Strategy Consultant (Python/R skills)
£500 - £600 p/d Inside IR35 (paid via Umbrella Co,)
Duration: 12 Months
Hybrid working with 3 days onsite in Leeds or Edinburgh offices.

Applicants must be able to undergo clearance & checks prior to starting. (No Sponsorship will be offered)

As a Data Strategy Consultant (Python/R skills), you will be responsible for enhancing regulatory capabilities, facilitating data-driven decision-making, and understanding financial market trends.

The ideal Data Strategy Consultant (Python/R skills) candidate will have:

• Hands on experience with programming languages including Python or R Studio.
• Practical experience working closely with diverse stakeholders to identify business problems and use data to propose solutions for effective decision making.
• Excellent organisational skills, delivering multiple tasks under pressure.
• Experience in data science, data analytics and data management, ideally with skills in Python and/or R
• Knowledge of relational databases and skills in administering, transforming, and manipulating large datasets
• A good understanding of good data management, access, and sharing practices
• The ability to work with technical and non-technical audiences alike, with the ability to explain complex information and data.
• The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, detail-oriented, and passionate about data, problem-solving, and continuous learning.
