Data Engineer (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £60k - 70k per year + hybrid remote working
 

Data Engineer - Databricks, Pyspark, Azure

Permanent

UK based, once a week in London office

£60,000 - £70,000 plus benefits

Do you have strong data engineering experience with Azure and Databricks? Are you ready to revolutionise the way an organisation works through data?

Sentinel are working with a financial services who are looking for a strong Data Engineer to join their team and work on their Databricks platform. This is an exciting time to join the company as they harness the latest data technology to positively impact the way they work. The role would suit an experienced Azure Data Engineer who has been working on Databricks and has good client facing skills.

Skills & Experience:

We are looking for someone that has a strong mix of the following skills and experience:

  • Background in Azure data engineering
  • Strong experience working on Databricks Lakehouse
  • Core skills in coding with SQL and Pyspark
  • Experience with Delta Live Tables
  • Solid understanding of medallion architecture
  • Stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities:

As the Data Engineer you'll be responsible for:

  • Preparing data for ingestion
  • Building data pipelines
  • Liaising with business stakeholders
  • Supporting and collaborating with other teams
