Cloud Engineer working within Financial Services for an initial 6-month contract, this will be paying between £750 - £850 per day (inside IR35). This is a Hybrid role, split: 3 days per week in the London office.

Job Summary

We are hiring for Machine Learning Engineering & Platform team for a ML Cloud Infrastructure Engineer. We are building the next generation Machine Learning platform on top of one of the largest fintech data lake.

In your role as an ML Cloud engineer would be to build and deploy Notebook, ML Experiment tracking, Model Performance tracking and other ML Development and Ops tooling. A Platform as a Product mindset with customers in mindset is highly desirable requirement.

About You

• Experience in DevOps and Infrastructure as Code
• Good understanding of Kubernetes
• Programming in Terraform, Python
• Understanding of Docker and Associated Tech
• Have previously built and maintained an ML Platform
• Experience in working with Databricks deployments.

Experience and Qualifications

• Programming/Code: Python, Terraform, Go (Desirable)
• Cloud Vendor: AWS
• Bachelor's in computer science or equivalent combination in education, training and experience.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in computer programming Front End and Back End services.
• Minimum 2 years' experience Docker development and using orchestration frameworks or services.
• Minimum 2 years' DevOps experience - manual deployment and using tools/code.
• Minimum 2 years' Cloud Engineering (AWS, Azure or Google) utilizing infrastructure as code, SDKs and APIs.
• Minimum 3 years' Data Engineering experience - include Relational and noSQL database CRUD operations, querying and data transformation.
• Data streaming experience is a plus.
